Hummer H3 Baja 500
For the second year in a row, the Hummer H3 piloted by the Hall team was the only truck to finish the Baja 500 in the mini-stock division. “This year’s course was extremely grueling and treacherous,” said Chad Hall, who piloted the H3 from mile 110 to the finish. “Fortunately, the H3 is designed to excel in these types of terrain conditions.” Check out all the details at WhoWon.com.

First Hummer H3 Tactical Editions Hit Dealerships

Hummer H3 Tactical Edition Red
Hummer’s newest limited production model, the H3 Tactical Edition, is now available at dealerships. Tactical models only come in three colors (Red, Boulder Gray, and Black), and are equipped with a color matched grille, black brush guard, black powder coated wheels, black tube steps, and unique tire cover. The tire cover is a hard-shell plastic that attaches via zipper from behind – it looks great in person. We were a little disappointed that the Hummer H3 Tactical Edition isn’t available with the adventure package (larger wheels, locking rear differential), but we put on some 33 inch tires ourselves, along with some black roof rails, which really helped the overall look of the truck. Dealerships will only receive about 5 to 25 each depending on size.

Pictures: Hummer Cell Phones to Release Soon

Hummer Cell Phone
We now see what the new Hummer cell phones will look like – and we’re impressed! I’ll be the first to say that I envisioned a utilitarian style cell phone similar to the yellow/rubber Nextel phones from a few years back. The new Hummer phones look about as sleek as a Razr phone but in a slider version. Personally, I’m partial to the silver Hummer phone pictured in the middle. Even if these didn’t carry the Hummer name, I’d be interested in purchasing one. There is no word yet on US carriers, but they should be available in an unlocked GSM version – the first Hummer cell phones will go on sale in Europe. This of course makes sense because Hummers are European cars, right? Ah well…we’ll let them figure out the bugs before the American debut of the Hummer phone!
