At this weekend’s Barrett-Jackson’s auto auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, two HUMMER icons from the 2007 SEMA show were sold to the highest bidder. On the block were the racing inspired 2008 HUMMER H3R concept and the 2007 HUMMER H2 Safari concept.
The 7.0L V8 powered H3R went for $44,000, while the H2 Safari went for $45,100. Considering the custom fabrication on each of these vehicles, someone walked off with a couple of steals. The H3R easily cost two to three times what it sold for. If it would have had a VIN, it’s possible you would have seen it on our specials page!
