In a press conference this morning, GM CEO Fritz Henderson confirmed a Reuter’s report that there are still three remaining bidders interested in HUMMER, and that they are in the final stages of review.
Henderson did not go into detail about the bidders nor their offers, but did say that GM expects to have an announcement by the end of the month.
Although an announcement didn’t come on schedule as promised last month, we expect this will be an accurate timeline. That is unless Henderson is axed by Obama days before the deadline.
