Hummer H2 Russia

According to Financial News, General Motors is in talks with one of Russia’s largest automakers, Russian Machines, regarding the sale of its HUMMER brand. Russian Machines is owned by Oleg Deripaska, one of Russia’s richest individuals.

Citibank is also reportedly in talks with Sollers and Avtotor. This wouldn’t be the first time Avtotor and General Motors worked together – GM teamed up with Avtotor in 2004 to produce a limited number of HUMMER H2 vehicles in Kaliningrad, Russia.

Russians seem to have understood that Hummer will have a bright future. GM not…! and all this due to eco-terrorism and green faschism…
What a pity that an American myth will very probably be sold to a stranger (globalization knows no limits!).
