During the announcement yesterday about the release of a “new Hummer truck” coming from GM, Hummer’s Cheif Martin Walsh also talked about the future of a Hybrid Hummer: “We don’t really see hybrid technology as an ideal platform for Hummer because it does not allow the vehicle to demonstrate true off-road capabilities.” He went on to say that a Flex Fuel Hummer would be much more likely.
