HUMMER H3 Alpha Custom Slantback Goes Offroad

There are custom HUMMERs, and there are custom HUMMERs. We’re not talking about over-the-top chrome and TVs everywhere either. This is the one-of-a-kind HUMMER H3 Alpha that has been transformed into an off-road beast.

We first saw some cell-phone pics of this bad boy about a year ago – and this custom H3 was so well done, the crew at Petersen’s 4Wheel & Offroad took the time to check it out and snap some pictures for publication.

The rig was done right (read: not in someone’s garage w/ a buddy who is a good welder) from the start by American Hot Rod and Off Road Evolution – two well-respected shops in Southern California. American Hot Rod handled the slant-back conversion and other exterior components, and Off Road Evolution worked on the belly of the beast.
