The Sonoma Red Hummer H3x only appears on the screen for a split second in GM’s newest commercial for its 5 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty. The focus of the commercial is GM’s new commitment to quality. An assembly line robot dreams of a catastrophic slippery slope ending in jumping off a bridge after being fired from a GM assembly plant — all for dropping a single bolt on the ground. You can’t help but feel for the robot – but we’ll see if the multiple ad campaign really helps boost consumer confidence in GM vehicles.
