Even though we don’t know the identity or location of the buyer that General Motors intends to sell the HUMMER brand to, we do know that HUMMER global headquarters will be based in the United States.
According to a Q & A regarding Tuesday’s official announcement, HUMMER will continue to be a U.S. Based company, and noted that they are currently evaluating several locations around the country for a permanent global headquarters.
This is great news considering the current U.S. job market and possibility of a foreign investor.
We’re betting that GM would gladly rent some space in the Ren Cen to HUMMER if they decided to stay in the motor city….
