HUMMER expected a fury of rumors to get started after the announcement last week that the brand was undergoing a strategic review. General Motors put all options are on the table, including the sale of the iconic brand. HUMMER’s top dog Martin Walsh is addressed the issue this evening on GM’s official Fastlane blog:

“I want you to know that in the end I believe the HUMMER name, and it’s line-up of iconic vehicles, will still be purchased and enjoyed by customers around the world,” said Walsh. “In any outcome, there is no denying the potential of a brand which holds such a vivid place in today’s culture.”
