Our friend Mike Levine at PickupTrucks.com has somehow once again convinced three manufacturers to take some brand new trucks and put them through their paces off-road. The premise was to find out if off-road models of popular pickups really do provide an edge when faced with a rocky challenge. Among the competitors were the HUMMER H3T Alpha-Adventure, Nissan’s Frontier PRO-4X, and Toyota Tacoma’s TRD Off-Road package.
“The H3T is by far one of the most impressive off-road vehicles we tested,” said Mike. “It feels like a heavy truck because it’s so solid, but it’s agile enough to take on just about anything.”
We’d hate to spoil much more for you – so we’ll let you read the entire article, which also has a lot of info on the technical side of off-roading, over at PickupTrucks.com.
