Robby Gordon and Team HUMMER Ready for 2010 Dakar

The start of the 2010 Dakar Rally in South America is just days away, and Robby Gordon and Team HUMMER are making their final preparations for the grueling race that starts January 1st.

The Dakar rally will begin and end in Buenos Aires, with stages in both Argentina and Chile. The race was moved to South America in 2009 after the 2008 was canceled in Africa due to terrorist threats.

Team HUMMER and Robby Gordon Racing will be entering three H3s into this year’s race, with Robby piloting the first, Carlo De Gavardo racing a HUMMER sponsored by the country of Chile, and Ronn Bailey piloting the third HUMMER.

Toyo Tires will be blogging from the race starting December 29th. In the meantime, check out this video from last year’s Dakar – when Robby flips the H3, checks the damage, and keeps on truckin.
