As the Australasian Safari off-road race quickly approaches, the last crew members from Rod Hall Racing are arriving in Perth, Australia, and are readying the HUMMER H2 SUT race truck for the 2200 mile race.
In order to comply with the Confederation of Australian Motorsports safety requirements, driver Josh Hall and his team will need to make some last minute adjustments to the H2 before the race starts this Sunday. The process is a little more complicated in Australia, since the all the team’s equipment has to be cleared by customs. While most of the items have been cleared (including the H2!), some items are being hung up by the process.
Further updates from Australia will be available on the team’s blog.
