Team HUMMER is just days away from the last Best In the Desert series race, and is poised to sweep the stock class season championships. Coming into this weekend’s Henderson FabTech Desert Classic, Team HUMMER leads in season points in each of their respective classes.
Leading the stock mini class is team HUMMER owner and patriarch Rod Hall, 70, who pilots the HUMMER H3. Hall’s two sons, Josh and Chad, also lead their classes. Josh leads the stock full truck class in the 2008 HUMMER H2 SUT while Chad leads the stock full class in the HUMMER H3 Alpha.
“Victories at the final 2008 race would put an exclamation point on a remarkable season,” said the legendary Rod Hall. “Our ability to consistently finish at the top of the stock classes race-after-race is a great testament to the durability of HUMMER vehicles.”
Keep up with Team HUMMER’s progress this Saturday for the Best In the Desert’s season finale.
