There’s no shortage of Hummer H3 reviews from folks who had a loaner for an afternoon, but FourWheeler.com sweet-talked GM into giving them loaded yellow Hummer H3 for an extended review under normal daily driving. Reviewers were impressed with the H3’s tight turning radius at 37 feet, giving it unparalleled maneuverability in the city. With 4,000 miles logged, this is the first of 4 reviews. One of their issues with the vehicle was the power — something that has been addressed in the 2007 Hummer H3 model with the addition of a 3.7 liter, 242 HP engine upgrade.
Long-Term Hummer H3 Road Test
$38,000 Hummer H3…Golf Cart?
We’ve seen Hummer golf carts before, but this one probably takes the cake as far as price goes. The Hummer H3 golf cart includes a stereo, bucket seats, coolers, chrome grille and alloy wheels. The price seems a bit steep, since you can get all those options (minus the cooler), plus windows, air conditioning, and a warranty for about 8 grand less with a REAL Hummer H3. However, I don’t think they’ll let you traverse the golf course in it – is it worth it to you?
New Hummer H2 Star Trek TV Ad
Hummer Star Trek Themed Ad
I have to admit, this one was a little surprising to me. Does the H2 crowd really seem like a Star Trek crowd? Hummer has just released a new ad featuring an H2 in a Star-Trek like setting with the tagline of “Boldly Go”. Interestingly enough, BoldlyGo.com is actually the official site for the Ford Fusion.
All New Hummers to get XM Radio
GM and XM Radio recently announced a deal that puts the satellite radio system in over 1.8 million vehicles next year. The XM Satellite radio service will become a standard feature on all 2008 Hummer H3s and Hummer H2s. This change will go along with the interior update for 2008 in the Hummer H2, a much anticipated mid-cycle enhancement.
Hummer sponsors GQ Men of the Year celebration
Hummer is sponsoring GQ magazine’s “Men of the Year” issue celebration, which included a pre-charity event, red carpet arrivals, dinner honoring the three GQ men of the Year (JAY-Z, Leonardo DiCaprio and Will Ferrell) and an afterparty. The pre-charity event was held in Los Angeles on Nov. 21 with JAY-Z. There was an extensive Hummer presence through displays, a lounge area and more. The Men of the Year dinner was held at the Sunset Towers Hotel on the famed Sunset Boulevard. Key celebrities were ushered to the event in HUMMER vehicles that are branded as the official vehicle of the 2006 GQ Men of the Year.
New Golden Hummer Accessories
If you thought Hummers couldn’t possibly sport any more ‘bling,’ a company called RealGold has news for you. As long as you have the funds, they will dip your vehicle accessories (Brush guards, Grilles, etc) in 24k gold. RealGold had the Hummer shown above on display at this year Bucharest Luxury Show.
Boomerang Lands Official Licensing Deal with Hummer
When it comes to Hummer tire covers there are lots of choices and manufacturers, but only one has the license to use the Hummer logo. Boomerang Enterprises has agreed to a licensing deal with General Motors to include their entire line of soft and hybrid tire covers for Hummer H2 and H3 vehicles. Boomerang has manufactured automotive accessories since 1995.
Unlock the Flavor, and Unlock the Hummer!
When Greg Skalak filled out a little piece of paper at a Casey’s General Store in Columbus, he never expected to win a Hummer H3. The promotion was part of the “Unlock the Flavor” promotion put on by The Dr. Pepper/Seven Up Bottling Group. The top price was a new Hummer H3. When he received the call at home, it took him awhile to believe it since he had never won such a big prize. Friends and family members have been itching for a ride in Greg’s new truck – something he never got with his Sunfire.
Ho-Ho-Holiday Hummer H2
Well Geiger Cars has done it again – this time with a Hummer H2 designed with Christmas in mind. A ‘fireplace,’ lambo-doors, and a ton of LED lights are just a few of the additions that make this a one-of-a-kind Hummer. The vehicle was made for a German TV program on which it was later auctioned off. Here is some more info on the Hummer:
“The winter theme is reinforced by a matching snowmobile towed behind the HoliHUMMER, a roof-mounted Santa and toboggan, as well as a pair of snowboards stowed vertically at the rear. Open the doors and you’re welcomed into a red leather holiday cocoon, replete with full A/V system, bearskin rug, electric fireplace, and auxiliary heater. It’s very cozy, as illustrated by Santa’s helper below. The rear cargo area features a 42″ TV and storage for warm drinks and snacks. In all, it’s a fun, kitschy custom that takes Christmas to HUMMERized levels of excess.”

Hummer H3 Scales Wall in UAE
As part of a new marketing Hummer campaign in the United Arab Emirates, a local ad firm has come up with this – a Hummer H3 scaling the wall of a skyscraper. I haven’t found a good link to go into further detail on the campaign, but it certainly does get your attention. I wish they had this kind of advertising for Hummer in the states!
