Fiat Concept a Joke on Hummer?

During a recent motorshow in Bologne, Fiat revealed the “Oltre Fiat” — a vehicle designed to “ridicule the most American of all models pottering around on the roads today.” I guess its nice to be popular enough to illicit jokes — but from Fiat?
