You may remember Ratchet – the HUMMER H2 turned movie prop from Transformers named Ratchet. In China, similarly equipped vehicles may be used as real-life emergency vehicles. That is, if they can find the trucks…
These shots were taken at the China International Exhibition on Police Equipment, where several HUMMER H3s and H2s were outfitted for police and fire applications.

Hummer’s will live on guys and the pressure will be too great at GM to resist reintroducing Hummer when there is a change at the top of the Goverment. This will happen at some point as you know all to well, it starts with this falls elections.

Hopefully you’re right Hummersatman. I still want an HX. So does my wife.

IT REALLY DOESN’T SUPRISE ME ABOUT THE DEMAND ON USED HUMMERS. WE HAVE BEEN SELLING AS MANY IF NOT MORE SINCE GM SAID THEY WERE SHUTTING HUMMER DOWN. THE SAD THING IS IT LOOKS LIKE GM DOESN’T CARE ABOUT THE LOYAL HUMMER OWNERS AND FUTURE OWNERS. THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERANT WAYS THEY COULD HAVE GONE WITH THE TRUCKS AND WE WOULD HAVE FOLLOWED. HUMMER STILL LIVES IN MY HEART AND I HOPE IT LIVES IN YOURS FOREVER………

As soon as all the new HUMMERs are sold GM will be regretting the decision to close HUMMER…

WHY DO YOU THINK THAT HUMMER3? IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT US OR WHAT WE THINK. WE ALL WANT HUMMER TO LIVE A LONG LIFE.
THIS IS THE ONLY PRODUCT LINE THAT GM HAS THAT HAS A LOYAL FOLLOWING OF OWNERS. THE OTHER LINES CUSTOMERS WOULD GO TO A DIFFERENT PRODUCT IF THE PRICE WAS CHEAPER.

Long live the Hummers!!!!!!
Amen

Because they will see that there is still a HUGE market for them & they are not making anything off it…

I UNDERSTAND WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM. I WORK AT A HUMMER DEALERSHIP AND AM VERY UPSET WITH GM. THE CHOICE THEY MADE HAS HURT ALL OF US. THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT THE MONEY THAT’S WHY THEY ENDED UP WHERE THEY ARE NOW IN THE MARKET PLACE. THE GOVERMENT HAS PUSHED THEM TO THIS DIRECTION AND WON’T LET THEM DO ANYTHING DIFFERANT..SUCKS FOR US..WE ALL LOVE HUMMER AND WHAT IT STANDS FOR……………

I thought I read somewhere that HUMMER was still profitable for GM. That would lead me to believe that Obama is the sole reason for the shutdown. maybe when someone other than a dictator gets in office HUMMER will be back.
On a side note, speaking of Transformers, Megan Fox won’t be in the third installment.

Who was in office when gas was $4/gallon and the recession hit??? All the soccer moms pushed the good sales numbers and when the fad wore off, sales dropped off the table. Then the economy ate it hard. I did my part by purchasing one in 2008 and another in 2009. I hate that they got rid of Hummer but obviously all the changes GM made are paying off. They are profitable and are paying back taxpayer money. There are still plenty of new Hummers out there despite very limited production in the last year. Get one before their gone!

@David
I’m not worried about the next couple years. I’m worried about buying a HUMMER 5-10 years from now. I’m pretty sure they’ll be scarce by then to even find a decent used one at that point. I’ve been thinking about a REFI on my 2008 so I can afford another RIGHT NOW! LOL! At first I thought I would want an SUT as my next HUMMER, but the 3T is growing on me. I HATE GM!

The last HUMMER came of the assembly line today, a black H3T. What a sad day.

@ HUmmer Addict, what do you mena megan fox wont be in the 3rd one????!!!!!! haha

The thing I regret was that they never got the chance to bring the HX to market.
Less expensive than the H3, with its’own new drive train, it would have not only fit my budget, but been a heck of a lot of fun to drive. Even the in town milage was good too.
Looks like Obama may be a one term president at this rate…
