Armored H2 Makes CSI New York Season Finale Cast

Armored HUMMER H2HUMMERs make lots of appearances in TV shows – remember the H3 chase through Dallas on Walker Texas Ranger? And while an H2 has a standing role in CSI Miami, CSI New York is has decided to use a unique armored HUMMER H2 in its season finale airing Thursday.

The Armored HUMMER is made by International Armoring Corp out of Utah and is bullet-proof, bomb-proof, and the windows are nearly two inches thick.

The price of the custom HUMMER H2 is a staggering $172,500 – but hey – how much is your life worth when you’re being bombed and shot at?

IAC’s CEO Mark Burton commented that “the Hummer H2 provides the perfect platform to provide the maximum armor protection while maintaining the original appearance and performance of the vehicle – CSI NY® could not have chosen a better bulletproof vehicle to feature in their season finale.”

That leaves us with one question – if the equipped looks identical to a stock vehicle but at triple the cost – why not just pretend (remember now, they’re actors) a normal H2 is bullet proof? Maybe the show will answer that question….complete release after the jump.
